I first fell in love with photography as a child, poring over pages of National Geographic, fascinated by images that could so vividly portray stories of distant places and cultures.
When I picked up a camera while studying fine arts at university, I was hooked—captivated by photography's power to crystallize a single moment in the whirlwind of life, capturing stories that might otherwise slip by unnoticed or be forgotten.
Photography has helped me understand and interpret the world around me and has been integral to my social justice work with various aid agencies over the years, as well as in my current role at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery.
I now call the beautiful south west corner of Western Australia home, where I live with my family. You'll usually find us in or near the ocean.
